About the role

Pinecrest Systems is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need a Vue.js Frontend Developer to lead the UI overhaul, ensuring fast load times, smooth interactions, and robust error handling across all client touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing Vue components and identify bottlenecks
• Refactor code to leverage lazy loading, code‑splitting, and Vue 3 composition API
• Implement state‑management patterns that reduce redundant renders
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee reliability
• Collaborate with backend engineers to align API contracts and caching strategies

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of frontend development with Vue.js
• Deep understanding of performance optimization techniques
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with Vuex/Pinia and modern build tools (Vite, Webpack)
• Strong testing mindset (Jest, Cypress)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployments
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
