About the role

Cascade Apps is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need a Terraform Engineer to design, implement, and fine‑tune the infrastructure that powers these upgrades, ensuring scalability and uptime.

Key responsibilities

• Write reusable Terraform modules for core services and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cloud architects to optimize AWS resource usage and cost.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and automated remediation for reliability.
• Conduct performance testing of infrastructure changes and provide actionable insights.
• Document architecture decisions and operational runbooks.

Must-have skills

• Strong Terraform expertise with module development.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, ALB, IAM).
• Solid DevOps background, including CI/CD implementation.
• Ability to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in cloud environments.

Nice to have

• Kubernetes or ECS orchestration experience.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of security best practices in IaC.
