About the role

Summit Digital is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need a Vue.js Frontend Developer to lead the UI optimization effort, ensuring fast load times and stable interactions across browsers.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing Vue components for performance bottlenecks
• Refactor code to use lazy loading, memoization, and efficient state management
• Implement automated testing for critical user flows
• Collaborate with backend engineers to align API contracts for reliability
• Document best practices and create reusable performance patterns

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Vue.js (2.x/3.x) and component architecture
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Understanding of web performance metrics (LCP, FID, CLS)
• Ability to write unit and integration tests (Jest, Cypress)
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with Vuex or Pinia state management
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for frontend builds
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
