About the role

Cascade Apps is creating a data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need an Android Developer to build the mobile front‑end that ingests, visualizes, and interacts with real‑time operational data.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement native Android UI components for data dashboards
• Integrate RESTful and streaming APIs to feed operational metrics
• Optimize performance for large data sets and offline usage
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define data contracts
• Write unit and UI tests to ensure reliability

Must-have skills

• Strong Kotlin and Java proficiency
• Deep experience with Android SDK, Jetpack, and modern architecture (MVVM, Coroutines)
• Hands‑on knowledge of networking libraries (Retrofit, OkHttp) and data storage (Room, SQLite)
• Ability to translate analytics requirements into intuitive mobile experiences

Nice to have

• Familiarity with data streaming (Kafka, WebSocket)
• Experience building analytics or BI tools on mobile
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for Android apps
