About the role

Keystone Digital is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need an Android Developer to lead the effort, ensuring the app runs faster, consumes less battery, and remains stable under load. You will work closely with product and QA teams to deliver measurable improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Profile, benchmark, and optimize critical app pathways.
• Refactor legacy code to improve thread management and memory usage.
• Implement robust error handling and crash‑reporting mechanisms.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to fine‑tune API interactions.
• Write unit and integration tests to validate performance gains.

Must-have skills

• Strong Kotlin and Java expertise on Android.
• Deep understanding of Android architecture components and performance tooling.
• Experience with profiling tools (Android Studio Profiler, LeakCanary, etc.).
• Proven ability to debug and resolve memory leaks and ANR issues.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Jetpack Compose.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for Android.
• Experience in remote, part‑time collaborations.
