About the role

NovaForge Tech is undertaking a performance and reliability overhaul of its customer‑facing services. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and fine‑tune cloud infrastructure that supports high‑throughput workloads while minimizing latency.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and provision scalable AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda) for critical front‑end APIs.
• Containerize micro‑services with Docker and orchestrate deployments using CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and auto‑scaling policies to ensure 99.9% uptime.
• Conduct performance benchmarking and recommend optimizations.
• Collaborate with developers to embed security and cost‑efficiency best practices.

Must-have skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS core services.
• Proficiency in Docker containerization.
• Solid DevOps mindset with CI/CD tooling.
• Linux system administration expertise.

Nice to have

• Kubernetes or ECS experience.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with performance testing tools.
