About the role
NexGen Media is launching a new streaming analytics platform and needs an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize the core infrastructure. You will work closely with data engineers and product owners to ensure a scalable, secure, and cost‑effective environment.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and implement AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) for the project
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration
- Set up CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and enforce security best practices
- Document infrastructure and provide knowledge transfer to the team
Must-have skills
- Strong experience with AWS core services
- Proficiency in Docker containerization
- Solid DevOps practices and automation tools
- Linux system administration
Nice to have
- Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Knowledge of serverless architectures
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Prometheus
