About the role

Cascade Apps is launching a sprint to embed security checks into its CI/CD pipeline and automate platform provisioning. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst who can blend security expertise with DevOps practices to accelerate release cycles while keeping the environment hardened.

Key responsibilities

• Design and integrate automated security scans into build pipelines
• Develop scripts to enforce configuration compliance on Linux hosts
• Collaborate with developers to remediate vulnerabilities early
• Document security controls and create run‑books for incident response
• Monitor pipeline metrics and recommend improvements for faster, safer releases

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience with security tooling in CI/CD (e.g., SAST, DAST)
• Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting
• Strong knowledge of Linux hardening and system administration
• Understanding of container security and image scanning

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or Ansible
• Certifications like CISSP, OSCP, or Cloud Security
