About the role

Summit Digital is launching an integration project that ties together billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to design and enforce security controls across the data flow and ensure compliance throughout the integration lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Map data movement between billing, CRM, and APIs to identify attack surfaces
• Develop threat models and mitigation strategies for each integration point
• Implement security monitoring, logging, and alerting for real‑time detection
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests on integrated services
• Collaborate with developers to embed security checks into CI pipelines
• Document security policies, incident response procedures, and audit findings

Must-have skills

• Strong understanding of network and application security principles
• Hands‑on experience with Python scripting for automation and analysis
• Proficiency in Linux environments and hardening techniques
• Familiarity with API security standards (OAuth, JWT, rate limiting)

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) in integration contexts
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as PCI‑DSS or GDPR
