About the role

Vertex Analytics is launching a sprint to embed security into its CI/CD pipeline and automate platform deployments. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to design controls, integrate scanning tools, and ensure rapid, safe releases.

Key responsibilities

• Embed static and dynamic analysis into CI pipelines
• Automate vulnerability remediation workflows
• Develop security‑as‑code policies for infrastructure provisioning
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to harden container images
• Monitor release metrics and provide real‑time risk assessments

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience securing CI/CD environments
• Proficiency with security tooling (e.g., SAST, DAST, container scanning)
• Strong scripting ability in Python for automation
• Deep knowledge of Linux hardening and access controls

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud security frameworks (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP
