About the role

Vertex Analytics is empowering operations teams with real‑time analytics. We need a DevOps Engineer to design and deploy a robust data pipeline that streams operational metrics into our analytics platform.

Key responsibilities

• Architect end‑to‑end data ingestion using AWS services
• Containerize ETL jobs with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
• Monitor pipeline health and optimize performance for low latency
• Collaborate with data scientists and ops engineers to refine data models

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS (S3, Lambda, Kinesis)
• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes for scalable workloads
• Hands‑on CI/CD implementation using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• Solid understanding of data pipeline patterns and observability

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience with streaming frameworks such as Apache Flink or Spark
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments
