About the role

BlueSky Ventures is expanding its analytics capability for operations teams. We need a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain a scalable data pipeline that feeds real‑time insights to business users.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement end‑to‑end data pipelines on AWS
• Containerize ETL components with Docker and orchestrate via Kubernetes
• Set up CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
• Monitor performance, ensure reliability, and troubleshoot bottlenecks
• Collaborate with data analysts to translate requirements into infrastructure

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue, etc.)
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for production workloads
• Hands‑on CI/CD implementation using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
• Solid scripting ability (Python, Bash) for automation

Nice to have

• Familiarity with data streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis)
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Background in analytics or data engineering workflows
