GraphQL API Developer – Backend Scalability Overhaul

About the role

We are launching a sprint to tighten CI/CD pipelines and automate platform releases. The GraphQL API Developer will design and extend our GraphQL layer to support faster, reliable deployments while collaborating with DevOps engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize GraphQL schemas for deployment tooling
• Integrate GraphQL endpoints with existing CI/CD workflows
• Write automated tests and ensure versioned schema stability
• Collaborate on Docker and Kubernetes scripts for seamless rollouts
• Document API changes and release notes for the team

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building GraphQL APIs in production
• Proficiency with React and NodeJS for client‑server integration
• Solid understanding of REST API concepts and migration patterns
• Hands‑on knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code
• Experience with monitoring/logging solutions like Prometheus or Grafana
