About the role

Summit Digital is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need an iOS App Developer to lead the effort on our flagship app, ensuring fast load times, smooth UI interactions, and robust network handling.

Key responsibilities

• Profile and optimize existing code paths for speed and memory usage
• Refactor networking layer to improve REST API resilience
• Implement automated performance tests and monitor key metrics
• Collaborate with QA and backend teams to diagnose bottlenecks
• Document changes and share best practices with the dev team

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in Swift and iOS SDK
• Deep understanding of REST API integration and error handling
• Experience with Instruments, Xcode profiling, and performance tuning
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code in a part‑time remote setting

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Combine or async/await patterns
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for iOS
• Knowledge of analytics and crash reporting tools
