About the role

Orbit Labs is expanding its B2B SaaS suite with a new multi‑tenant capability called "Nebula Core". As a Java Developer you will own the delivery of tenant isolation, provisioning, and billing sync modules, ensuring a seamless experience for enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement tenant‑aware data models in MySQL using JPA/Hibernate.
• Build RESTful services for the Nebula Core provisioning API with Spring Boot 3.
• Integrate feature flags via LaunchDarkly to roll out tenant‑specific functionality.
• Write automated integration tests with Testcontainers and JUnit 5 for each sprint milestone.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to containerize services using Docker and configure CI pipelines in GitHub Actions.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot latency issues using New Relic and Grafana dashboards.

Must-have skills

• Strong Java (8+) development experience, especially with Spring ecosystem.
• Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands‑on MySQL schema design and query optimization.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git).
• Understanding of multi‑tenant architecture patterns.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes orchestration.
• Knowledge of JavaScript for occasional front‑end service calls.
