About the role

We are seeking an IoT Solutions Architect to design and implement end‑to‑end IoT platforms for our retail automation projects. The role focuses on integrating device fleets, cloud services, and data pipelines to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Architect scalable IoT frameworks linking edge devices to cloud back‑ends.
• Define data ingestion, processing, and storage strategies.
• Develop secure communication protocols and device provisioning workflows.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure firmware compatibility.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization for large device fleets.
• Document architecture diagrams, standards, and best practices.

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in IoT platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, or similar).
• Strong networking fundamentals, including MQTT, CoAP, and TLS.
• Extensive experience with Linux system administration and containerization.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript for device and cloud code.
• Design and implementation of RESTful APIs for device management.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of edge AI inference pipelines.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes orchestration for IoT workloads.
