Key Responsibilities
- Translate a wide range of documents from one language to another, including marketing materials, technical documents, and website content, while maintaining the original tone, style, and context.
- Review and edit translations for accuracy, clarity, and cultural appropriateness to ensure high-quality output that meets client expectations.
- Collaborate with the translation team to discuss project details, resolve any linguistic or technical issues, and share knowledge and best practices.
- Utilize translation memory software and other tools to optimize the translation process, improve efficiency, and consistency across projects.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines to ensure timely delivery of translated documents.
- Conduct research as necessary to understand specific industries, terminology, and cultural contexts related to translation projects.
- Communicate with project managers and clients to clarify any questions or concerns regarding the translations.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies when handling client documents and information.
- Participate in quality assurance processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to continually enhance the translation process.
- Stay updated with industry developments, new technologies, and best practices in translation to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of translation style guides, glossaries, and terminology databases.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field, with a strong foundation in both the source and target languages.
- Proven experience in translation, preferably in a professional setting, with a portfolio that demonstrates translation skills and versatility.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in the target language, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
