About the role

Pinnacle Works is expanding its data layer for a high‑traffic analytics platform. We need a MongoDB Specialist to design, optimize, and maintain our document database, ensuring scalability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design schema and data models tailored to application needs
• Implement indexing strategies and query optimizations
• Monitor performance, conduct capacity planning, and troubleshoot issues
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate MongoDB with services
• Document best practices and data governance policies

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with MongoDB architecture and administration
• Proficiency in aggregation pipelines and data modeling
• Familiarity with sharding, replication, and backup strategies
• Ability to write efficient queries and scripts

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud‑native MongoDB services (Atlas, Cosmos DB)
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) for database deployment
