About the role

LumenWorks is preparing a coordinated mobile and backend release for an upcoming app store launch. We need a Node.js Developer who can bridge API work with mobile consumption patterns, ensuring performance and reliability under tight release timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful services that power the new mobile app
• Integrate authentication and data sync mechanisms tailored for iOS/Android clients
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to align API contracts and error handling
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee API stability
• Optimize endpoints for latency and scalability during peak launch traffic

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with NodeJS and Express framework
• Proficient JavaScript coding and async patterns
• Hands‑on building and documenting REST API endpoints
• Understanding of mobile‑backend interaction and data security

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Node services
• Experience with cloud hosting (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Knowledge of performance monitoring tools
