About the role
Silverline Labs is extending a B2B SaaS product with a new multi‑tenant feature set. We need a PostgreSQL Administrator who can ensure the database layer scales securely and reliably as tenants are added.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement schema changes to support tenant isolation
- Configure and tune PostgreSQL for high‑concurrency workloads
- Automate backup, restore, and failover procedures across regions
- Monitor performance metrics and resolve bottlenecks proactively
- Collaborate with dev teams to integrate DB changes into CI pipelines
Must-have skills
- 5+ years managing PostgreSQL in production environments
- Strong SQL proficiency and query optimization experience
- Hands‑on with replication, partitioning, and sharding strategies
- Familiarity with Linux system administration
Nice to have
- Experience with MongoDB or MySQL migrations
- Knowledge of container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Background in multi‑tenant SaaS architectures
