About the role

NexGen Media is building a unified integration layer to connect its billing platform, CRM system, and internal APIs. As a Prompt Engineer you will design and fine‑tune prompts that drive automated data extraction, transformation, and routing within the SyncPulse Hub module. This short‑term project focuses on delivering reliable, AI‑assisted workflows that keep financial and customer data in sync.

Key responsibilities

• Craft precise prompts for LLMs to parse billing invoices and map fields to CRM entities.
• Develop prompt‑driven validation scripts in Python to ensure data integrity across API calls.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to embed prompt outputs into REST endpoints using FastAPI.
• Iterate on prompt performance, measuring latency and accuracy against weekly milestones.
• Document prompt versioning and create a reusable library for future integration tasks.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience writing prompts for LLMs (GPT‑4, Claude).
• Proficiency in Python for prompt orchestration and testing.
• Knowledge of REST API design and JSON payload handling.
• Familiarity with JavaScript for front‑end trigger integration.
• Ability to debug prompt outputs and refine based on error analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience with LangChain or similar prompt‑management frameworks.
• Background in billing or CRM data schemas.
