About the role

CoreData Systems is driving a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. As a Prompt Engineer you will shape the prompt library for the new "SecurePrompt" module, ensuring AI‑assisted security checks are reliable and auditable. You will work closely with the cloud security team to embed prompt‑driven threat detection into CI pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, test, and refine prompts for a security‑focused LLM that scans code and configuration files for vulnerabilities.
• Integrate prompt workflows into AWS Lambda functions and Azure Functions used in the deployment pipeline.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps engineers to define prompt evaluation metrics and logging standards.
• Document prompt versioning, rollback procedures, and audit trails in Confluence.
• Deliver a proof‑of‑concept prompt suite within the first three weeks and iterate based on stakeholder feedback.

Must-have skills

• Expertise in crafting and optimizing prompts for LLMs (GPT‑4, Claude).
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices (IAM, CSPM).
• Proficiency with Python scripting for prompt automation.
• Experience using REST APIs to interact with AI services.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

Nice to have

• Background in threat modeling or security audit automation.
• Experience with MLOps platforms such as MLflow or Kubeflow.
