Python Backend Developer – Mission-Critical System Integration

About the role

We are modernizing our release pipeline by adding robust test automation. As a Python Backend Developer you will design and extend automation frameworks that run before every production launch, lowering regression risk and speeding feedback loops.

Key responsibilities

• Build scalable Python services that generate, schedule, and report automated test suites
• Integrate existing CI/CD pipelines with new test automation layers
• Write clean, well‑documented code and unit tests for all new modules
• Collaborate with QA and product teams to identify high‑risk areas
• Monitor test results, troubleshoot flakiness, and suggest improvements

Must-have skills

• Strong Python development experience, especially backend services
• Proficiency with Django or Flask for API creation
• Deep understanding of REST API design and consumption
• Hands‑on experience with PostgreSQL databases
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

Nice to have

• Experience with test frameworks such as pytest or Robot Framework
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration
• Background in performance testing or load simulation
