About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is launching a new data‑driven service and needs a Python Backend Developer to design and implement core APIs. You will work closely with product and front‑end teams to deliver reliable, scalable endpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Django
• Integrate PostgreSQL databases and optimize queries
• Write clean, testable code and ensure proper documentation
• Collaborate in code reviews and agile ceremonies
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot production issues

Must-have skills

• Strong Python programming experience
• Proficiency with Django framework
• Hands‑on experience building REST APIs
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and SQL optimization

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or containerization
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of AWS services
