About the role

NovaForge Tech is enhancing its data pipeline and analytics platform for operations teams. We need a detail‑oriented QA Software Tester to ensure the new ingest, transformation, and reporting layers work flawlessly under real‑world loads.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute functional, regression, and performance test cases for ETL jobs.
• Automate critical test flows using Selenium and custom scripts.
• Collaborate with data engineers to define quality gates and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, log, and track defects in the CI/CD pipeline.
• Generate clear test reports and metrics for stakeholders.

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience with QA testing of data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Selenium for web‑based data dashboards.
• Strong automation scripting abilities.
• Understanding of SQL and data validation techniques.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud data services (e.g., AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory).
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Background in performance testing tools such as JMeter.
