About the role

Ridgeline Software is enhancing its test automation framework to cut regression risk before product launches. We need a REST API Developer to design and extend APIs that power automated test suites and integrate with our CI pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and document new REST endpoints for test orchestration
• Integrate API calls with existing NodeJS test runners and PostgreSQL data stores
• Collaborate with QA engineers to define payloads that capture test results and metrics
• Optimize performance and ensure secure authentication for internal services
• Write unit and integration tests for all new API features

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building REST APIs with NodeJS
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Hands‑on work with PostgreSQL schemas and queries
• Understanding of test automation concepts and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Jest or Mocha testing frameworks
• Experience with Docker containerization
• Knowledge of API security standards (OAuth2, JWT)
