About the role

We are revamping the performance and reliability of our customer‑facing services on AWS. The AWS Cloud Engineer will design, implement, and tune infrastructure to meet strict SLAs while supporting rapid feature delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing AWS architecture and identify bottlenecks.
• Refactor networking, autoscaling, and caching layers for high throughput.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and Docker to ensure repeatable deployments.
• Set up monitoring, alerting, and automated remediation for critical services.
• Collaborate with developers to embed best‑practice security and cost‑optimization.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with AWS core services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda).
• Proficiency in Docker containerization and orchestration.
• Strong DevOps mindset with infrastructure‑as‑code expertise.
• Linux system administration and performance tuning.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of serverless architectures.
• Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Background in high‑traffic e‑commerce platforms.
