About the role
DataPro Services is launching a greenfield SaaS product and needs an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, build, and scale the core infrastructure from scratch. You will work with a remote‑first team, shaping the cloud strategy while ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and implement AWS environments using IaC (CloudFormation or Terraform)
- Containerize services with Docker and manage deployments via CI/CD pipelines
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting to maintain service health
- Automate security hardening, patch management, and compliance checks
- Collaborate with developers to optimize performance and cost
Must-have skills
- 5+ years of AWS infrastructure design and operations
- Deep experience with Docker and container orchestration
- Strong DevOps mindset and automation expertise
- Proficient in Linux system administration
Nice to have
- Experience with serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway)
- Knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, Transit Gateway)
- Familiarity with Terraform or CDK for IaC
