About the role

Pinecrest Systems is modernizing a legacy production platform with a zero‑downtime mandate. We need a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to design, implement, and fine‑tune automated delivery pipelines that keep services online while new code rolls out.

Key responsibilities

• Architect end‑to‑end CI/CD workflows on AWS
• Containerize legacy services using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes
• Implement blue‑green and canary deployments for zero‑downtime releases
• Integrate automated testing, security scans, and monitoring into pipelines
• Document pipeline standards and mentor the internal team

Must-have skills

• 5+ years building CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments
• Deep expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services
• Strong DevOps mindset and scripting proficiency
• Experience ensuring zero‑downtime deployments on legacy systems

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
