About the role

NexGen Media is launching a data‑driven product that requires advanced predictive models to improve user engagement. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will design, build, and validate machine‑learning pipelines that feed real‑time insights into the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop end‑to‑end predictive models using Python and statistical techniques.
• Integrate data pipelines with PostgreSQL databases and ensure data quality.
• Collaborate with engineers to expose model outputs via REST APIs.
• Perform feature engineering and selection for large‑scale datasets.
• Validate model performance and iterate based on business metrics.
• Document methodology and create reproducible code bases.

Must-have skills

• Expertise in Python for data analysis and machine learning.
• Strong SQL proficiency with PostgreSQL.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling and evaluation.
• Ability to work independently and deliver within tight timelines.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with JavaScript for data visualization.
• Experience with cloud‑based ML platforms.
