About the role
CoreData Systems is launching a brand‑new SaaS product and needs a DevOps Engineer to design the infrastructure from scratch. You will work with a remote‑first team to ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and highly available from day one.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and provision cloud resources on AWS for a greenfield environment
- Build automated CI/CD pipelines using GitOps principles
- Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to maintain reliability
- Collaborate with developers to embed security and performance best practices
Must-have skills
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM)
- Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes lifecycle management
- Proven ability to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Infrastructure‑as‑code expertise (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python)
Nice to have
- Experience with serverless architectures
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
- Knowledge of security frameworks (SOC2, ISO27001)
