Senior Docker Kubernetes Specialist Needed for Container Platform Build

About the role

Orbit Labs is creating a data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to design, deploy, and optimize containerized workloads that feed real‑time insights to business users.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement Kubernetes clusters on cloud providers for high‑throughput data processing.
• Containerize ETL components, schedule jobs, and ensure zero‑downtime deployments.
• Develop Helm charts and CI/CD pipelines to automate releases.
• Monitor cluster health, tune performance, and troubleshoot scaling issues.
• Collaborate with data engineers to integrate streaming and batch workloads.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Proficient in CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).
• Strong grasp of networking, storage, and security best practices for container orchestration.

Nice to have

• Experience with Helm, Kustomize, or Terraform.
• Familiarity with data pipeline frameworks such as Airflow or Prefect.
• Knowledge of cloud‑native monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana).
