About the role

CloudWave Digital is undertaking a performance and reliability overhaul of its customer‑facing services. We need a Frontend React Developer who can translate design concepts into fast, maintainable UI components while ensuring seamless user experiences under high load.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor existing React codebase to improve load times and reduce bundle size
• Implement lazy loading, code‑splitting, and caching strategies
• Collaborate with backend engineers to optimize data fetching and API integration
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee component stability
• Monitor frontend metrics and iterate on performance improvements

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with React, hooks, and functional components
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Solid understanding of web performance best practices
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand)
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Webpack or Vite build tools
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployments
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
