Senior GraphQL API Developer – Enterprise System Integration

About the role

CloudWave Digital is expanding its B2B SaaS platform with a new multi‑tenant capability. We need a GraphQL API Developer to design and implement tenant‑aware endpoints that integrate with existing services. You will work closely with product and engineering leads to ensure scalability and data isolation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build multi‑tenant GraphQL schemas and resolvers
• Integrate GraphQL layer with existing Node.js microservices
• Implement authentication and authorization per tenant
• Write unit and integration tests for API reliability
• Document API contracts and usage guidelines
• Collaborate with frontend teams to optimize query performance

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building production GraphQL APIs
• Strong knowledge of Node.js and REST API concepts
• Familiarity with React consumption of GraphQL
• Understanding of multi‑tenant architecture and data isolation
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and tests

Nice to have

• Experience with Apollo Server or similar frameworks
• Knowledge of AWS serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway)
• Background in CI/CD pipelines for API deployment
