About the role

DataPro Services is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a seasoned Java Developer to design, implement, and validate hardening measures across microservice components.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing Java services for security gaps and propose mitigations
• Implement authentication, authorization, and encryption controls using Spring Security
• Refactor vulnerable code paths and integrate secure coding best practices
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed security checks into CI pipelines
• Document findings and produce remediation guidelines for the team

Must-have skills

• 5+ years Java development experience
• Deep knowledge of Spring Boot and microservice architectures
• Hands‑on experience with OWASP security standards
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong debugging and performance tuning abilities

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CISSP or AWS Security Specialty
• Experience with container security tools (e.g., Trivy, Aqua)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code for security policies
