About the role

Vertex Analytics is enhancing its release pipeline with a focused test automation uplift. We need a Java Developer to design, implement, and integrate automated regression suites that lower launch risk and accelerate feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and code robust Java‑based test frameworks using Spring Boot
• Convert existing manual regression cases into maintainable microservice‑driven tests
• Integrate automated suites into CI pipelines and monitor flakiness
• Collaborate with QA and product owners to prioritize high‑impact scenarios
• Document test design patterns and provide knowledge transfer sessions

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of Java development in enterprise environments
• Deep experience with Spring Boot and building microservice architectures
• Proven track record of test automation for regression risk reduction
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control

Nice to have

• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)
• Background in cloud-native deployments (AWS, Azure)
