About the role

Summit Digital is launching a new product and needs a Java Developer to lead a test automation uplift. The goal is to dramatically cut regression risk before launch by building a robust, maintainable suite.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test frameworks for microservice APIs
• Integrate Selenium and REST‑Assured scripts into CI pipelines
• Collaborate with QA and product teams to define critical regression scenarios
• Refactor legacy test code for scalability and readability
• Provide clear documentation and training for ongoing test maintenance

Must-have skills

• 5+ years Java development experience
• Strong expertise with Spring Boot and microservices architecture
• Proven track record in building automated test suites (Selenium, REST‑Assured)
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions

Nice to have

• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes for test environments
