About the role

CoreData Systems is modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay live 24/7. We need a Microservices Architect to design a zero‑downtime migration path and steer the implementation of new services.

Key responsibilities

• Assess existing monolith and define microservice boundaries
• Design API contracts and data flow for seamless cut‑over
• Implement CI/CD pipelines enabling blue‑green deployments
• Guide Docker and Kubernetes adoption for scalable runtime
• Collaborate with dev and ops teams to enforce best practices

Must-have skills

• Deep experience designing microservice architectures
• Proficiency with Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration
• Strong Java development background
• Track record delivering zero‑downtime migrations

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Istio or service mesh patterns
• Experience with event‑driven communication (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
