About the role

We are modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay live 24/7. As a Microservices Architect you will design a zero‑downtime migration path and lead the refactor into containerized services.

Key responsibilities

• Define the target microservices landscape and integration patterns
• Design deployment pipelines that enable blue‑green and canary releases
• Guide the team in breaking monolith components into Docker‑based services
• Ensure data consistency and resilience during cut‑over
• Document architectural decisions and create runbooks for ops

Must-have skills

• Deep experience designing microservices architectures
• Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
• Strong Java development background
• Hands‑on experience with zero‑downtime migration strategies

Nice to have

• Familiarity with legacy Java EE systems
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
