About the role

NovaForge Tech is launching a rapid CI/CD and platform automation sprint to accelerate release cycles. We need a MongoDB Specialist to design, implement, and fine‑tune data pipelines that integrate seamlessly with our deployment workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Architect MongoDB schemas optimized for automated testing and continuous delivery.
• Build scripts and tooling to provision, backup, and restore clusters as part of the CI pipeline.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to embed data migrations into release pipelines.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement indexing strategies for faster rollouts.
• Document best practices and create runbooks for on‑call support.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with MongoDB replication, sharding, and aggregation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation (Bash, Python, or Node.js).
• Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Terraform or other IaC solutions.
• Knowledge of monitoring stacks like Prometheus or Grafana.
