About the role

DataPro Services seeks a senior NLP Engineer to design and fine‑tune language models for a customer‑facing chatbot. The project focuses on improving intent detection, response generation, and multilingual support within a three‑month sprint.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize transformer‑based models for intent classification and entity extraction.
• Integrate NLP pipelines with existing backend services via REST APIs.
• Implement data preprocessing, annotation, and augmentation workflows.
• Conduct performance evaluation, error analysis, and iterative model improvements.
• Collaborate with product and UX teams to align model behavior with user experience goals.

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in Python for machine learning and NLP.
• Hands‑on experience with transformer libraries (e.g., Hugging Face, PyTorch).
• Proficiency building and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of tokenization, embeddings, and fine‑tuning techniques.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality code quickly.

Nice to have

• Experience with multilingual model deployment.
• Familiarity with JavaScript for front‑end integration.
