Senior Python Backend Developer Needed for Service Layer Rewrite

About the role

BlueSky Ventures is expanding a multi‑tenant B2B platform. We need a Python Backend Developer to design and deliver new tenant‑specific features while keeping the core service stable and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable REST APIs for tenant isolation
• Extend existing Django services to support custom data models per client
• Write efficient PostgreSQL queries and manage schema migrations across tenants
• Collaborate with product and QA teams to define acceptance criteria
• Ensure code quality with unit tests and code reviews

Must-have skills

• Strong Python expertise with Django framework
• Design and consumption of RESTful APIs
• Proficient in PostgreSQL data modeling and optimization
• Experience building multi‑tenant SaaS applications

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of async programming (asyncio, Celery)
• Understanding of cloud services (AWS, GCP)
