About the role

Pinecrest Systems is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a React Native Developer to embed security best practices directly into the mobile codebase and ensure data protection across Android and iOS platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate encryption, secure storage, and authentication mechanisms into existing React Native apps
• Audit and remediate security vulnerabilities in third‑party libraries
• Collaborate with cloud engineers to align mobile security with backend hardening measures
• Write automated tests covering security edge cases
• Document security implementations and provide knowledge transfer to the internal team

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with React Native development
• Deep understanding of mobile security patterns (e.g., OWASP Mobile Top 10)
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Android, and iOS platforms
• Ability to work independently and deliver on a tight timeline

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud security services (AWS, Azure)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps
• Knowledge of secure code review tools
