About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a Terraform Engineer to design, implement, and audit infrastructure code that enforces best‑in‑class security controls across AWS environments.

Key responsibilities

• Write reusable Terraform modules that embed encryption, least‑privilege IAM, and network segmentation.
• Integrate Terraform pipelines into existing CI/CD workflows for automated compliance checks.
• Collaborate with security and ops teams to translate hardening guidelines into code.
• Perform drift detection and remediation to keep live resources aligned with declared state.
• Document module usage, security rationale, and hand‑off procedures.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience with Terraform on AWS.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
• Hands‑on CI/CD pipeline development (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Ability to write clear, maintainable IaC and documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with Sentinel or OPA policy as code.
• Familiarity with container security scanning tools.
• Knowledge of incident response workflows in cloud environments.
