Vue.js Frontend Developer Needed for Cloud-Native Checkout Flow Rebuild

About the role

Summit Digital is revamping a legacy production platform that must stay live while new features roll out. We need a Vue.js Frontend Developer who can craft modern, performant UI components and ensure seamless migration without service interruption. You will work closely with backend engineers and DevOps to align frontend releases with zero‑downtime deployment pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor existing UI codebase into Vue 3 with TypeScript
• Implement responsive, accessible components using HTML5 and CSS3
• Integrate with existing APIs and new GraphQL endpoints
• Write unit and end‑to‑end tests to guarantee stability during releases
• Collaborate in sprint planning to prioritize migration tasks

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Vue.js (Vue 2/3) and component architecture
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Understanding of zero‑downtime deployment strategies
• Ability to write clean, testable code and use Git workflows

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Vuex or Pinia state management
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for frontend assets
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques
