About the role

We are building a data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. As an Android Developer you will create mobile components that surface real‑time metrics and allow field staff to trigger data workflows directly from their devices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Android UI for monitoring dashboards and alerts
• Integrate with backend services using REST/GraphQL APIs
• Build offline data sync and caching mechanisms for intermittent connectivity
• Collaborate with data engineers to define data contracts and telemetry events
• Write unit and UI tests to ensure reliability in production

Must-have skills

• Strong Kotlin and Java development experience
• Proficiency with Android Jetpack components and MVVM architecture
• Experience handling background services and work manager for data pipelines
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON data handling

Nice to have

• Familiarity with analytics SDKs (Firebase, Mixpanel)
• Exposure to CI/CD for Android (Fastlane, Bitrise)
• Knowledge of data visualization libraries on Android
