About the role

We are modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay live 24/7. As an Android Developer you will help refactor core modules, introduce Jetpack components, and ensure seamless updates without downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Migrate legacy code to Kotlin and modern Android architecture
• Implement zero‑downtime deployment pipelines for the app
• Write unit and UI tests to guarantee stability during releases
• Collaborate with backend engineers to align API contracts
• Document migration patterns for future teams

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Kotlin and Android SDK
• Proficiency in Java for legacy code integration
• Understanding of zero‑downtime release strategies
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools for mobile

Nice to have

• Experience with Jetpack Compose
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (Espresso, Robolectric)
• Background in performance profiling on Android devices
