About the role

Vertex Analytics is launching a brand‑new greenfield SaaS product. We need an Android Developer to shape the mobile experience from scratch, working with a remote‑first, agile team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement core Android modules using Kotlin and Java
• Integrate RESTful APIs and real‑time services for analytics dashboards
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure pixel‑perfect implementation
• Write unit and UI tests to guarantee stability in CI pipelines
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture decisions

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android
• Experience with Android Jetpack components and MVVM
• Understanding of networking, authentication, and data persistence
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Compose or Flutter
• Knowledge of cloud services (Firebase, AWS)
• Previous work on greenfield mobile products
