About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is preparing a major app store release that tightly couples mobile front‑ends with backend services. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and fine‑tune the cloud environment that will support rapid feature rollouts and real‑time analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Architect scalable VPCs, subnets, and security groups for mobile API gateways.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines using CodePipeline and Docker to automate backend deployments.
• Configure auto‑scaling groups and Lambda functions for burst traffic during app launches.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with CloudWatch and X‑Ray.
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to ensure API latency stays under target thresholds.

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience with AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM).
• Proficiency in Docker containerization and orchestration.
• Strong DevOps mindset with infrastructure‑as‑code (CloudFormation or Terraform).
• Solid Linux administration and scripting abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway).
• Familiarity with mobile backend patterns (REST, GraphQL).
• Knowledge of security best practices for mobile data.
