AWS Cloud Engineer Needed for Auto-Scaling Setup

About the role

Ridgeline Software is launching an integration project to unify billing, CRM, and internal APIs on AWS. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer who can design, implement, and automate the cloud components that will securely connect these systems.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and provision AWS services (VPC, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS) for data flow between billing, CRM, and internal APIs.
• Create CI/CD pipelines using Docker and GitHub Actions to deploy infrastructure as code.
• Implement robust security controls, IAM policies, and monitoring with CloudWatch.
• Collaborate with product and backend teams to define integration contracts and error handling.
• Document architecture diagrams and operational runbooks.

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience with AWS core services and serverless patterns.
• Proficiency in Docker containerization and orchestration.
• Strong DevOps mindset with automation using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Solid Linux administration and scripting skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and billing systems.
• Experience with API management and event‑driven architectures.
• Knowledge of cost‑optimization strategies on AWS.
